"Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" Chinese Medicine Industry Undergraduate Planning Textbook (also known as "Tenth Edition Textbook") "History of Chinese Medicine"^[1]It was published and used in 2016. The book is improved on the basis of the "nine editions of textbooks", and the latest discoveries and research progress, such as the discovery of Han tomb in Laoguanshan and the Nobel Prize for artemisinin extraction, are written into the textbooks, which reflects the systematicity, inheritance and innovation. However, we still find some mistakes and questions in the use, so I would like to express my humble opinion and discuss it with my colleagues.

Nian Xiyao, whose name is Yungong, the owner of Ouzhai, was a person of Guangning, Fengtian (now Beizhen City, Liaoning Province) in the Qing Dynasty. The 10th year of Kangxi^[1](1671) was born in the official court, subordinate to the Han army Xianghuang Banner^[2]。 In his father's year, he became the minister of the Ministry of Industry and the governor of Huguang. In his younger year, he worshipped the governor of Sichuan and Shaanxi and the general of Fuyuan, all of whom were awarded the first class. Her sister is the imperial concubine of Dunsu, Emperor Shizong of Qing Nian Xiyao's official career started from the pen-post style of Kangxi Dynasty, and after repeated promotion, he traveled north and south, and became the chief envoy of Anhui Province. In the fifty-ninth year of Kangxi (1720), he was dismissed because of his participation; In the sixty-first year of Kangxi (1722), after the collapse of the holy ancestor, he was immediately appointed as the chief envoy to the governor of Guangdong, and was taught in the first year of Yongzheng (1723); In July of the third year of Yongzheng (1725), he promoted the right minister of the Ministry of Industry, and in November, he was convicted of taking the official position because of his younger brother Yao. The following year, he was re-employed, and was promoted to the general manager of the Internal Affairs Office. In July, he was appointed to tax Huai' an Customs and supervise the kiln affairs of Jingdezhen Imperial Factory. In the twelfth year (1734), the title of censor of Zuodu of the Canadian Procuratorate; In the thirteenth year of Yongzheng (1735), after the collapse of Sejong, he was impeached and reduced from office; He died in the third year of Qianlong (1738)^[3]He was 67 years old. Nian Xiyao traveled all over his life, made friends with famous scholars, and was knowledgeable and involved in a wide range of things. He is well-versed in phonology, mathematics, painting and calligraphy, well-versed in visual studies, well-versed in kiln porcelain, well-versed in medicine, and has written abundantly and achieved great achievements^[4]。

Since the 1920s, with the progress of paleoanthropology, a large number of ancient human fossils have been discovered in more than 1,000 Paleolithic sites in China^[1,2,3]For the research of paleoanthropology, paleopathology, paleoecology, medical history and other disciplines, it has provided extremely rich scientific data. The author intends to sort out the fossil materials of teeth and jaws of Homo erectus and early Homo sapiens in China, so as to provide reference for the future research of oral paleopathology, history of stomatology and other related disciplines.

Acupuncture anesthesia (referred to as acupuncture anesthesia for short) is a model of the combination of Eastern and Western medicine. It was born in 1950s, and the recognized first operator was Yin Huizhu. In the process of undertaking the basic work special project of the Ministry of Science and Technology "Research on the Standardization of Basic Academic Terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine", the author conducted in-depth research on acupuncture anesthesia, acupuncture analgesia and other related literatures, but found that the operator of the first case of acupuncture anesthesia may be someone else, and for various reasons, he has been oblivious and unknown.
