From June 30th to July 1st, 2018, the "9th National Academic Conference on Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma, Academic Conference on Head and Neck Radiation Oncology in Western China, and Training Course on Quality Control of Radiotherapy for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma in Sichuan Province" were successfully held in Chengdu Century City International Conference Center.

The 10th Shanghai International Radiation Oncology (SICRO) Conference was successfully held in Shanghai on August 10-11, 2018. This conference was sponsored by Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Fudan University, Shanghai Anti-Cancer Association, Radiotherapy Committee of Shanghai Anti-Cancer Association, undertaken by Cancer Supportive Treatment Committee of China Anti-Cancer Association, and co-organized by Chinese Cancer Journal, Cancer Radiotherapy Branch of Shanghai Medical Association, Radiotherapy Committee of China Anti-Cancer Association and Radiation Oncology Committee of China Research Hospital Association. Professors Yin Weibo, Zhao Sen, He Shaoqin, Yu Zihao, Shen Wenjiang and Xu Guozhen served as the honorary chairmen of the conference, Professor Guo Xiaomao and Professor Zhang Zhen served as the chairmen of the conference, and Professor Fan Min and Professor Zhao Happy served as the executive chairmen of the conference. With the theme of individualization and scientificalization of radiotherapy for chest tumors, the conference consisted of five topics, which comprehensively discussed the treatment status and scientific research progress of lung cancer and esophageal cancer, focusing on the combination of precision radiotherapy, radiotherapy and targeted therapy and immunotherapy, and other cutting-edge hotspots, with rich and exciting content.
