Since its establishment in 1915, the Chinese Medical Association has always been the core driving force for the development of Chinese medicine. As an important founder of China's modern medical system, its century-old history has not only witnessed the innovation of medical technology, but also reflected the deep integration of discipline construction and national health strategy. In 1951, the Stomatology Society of Chinese Medical Association was established, which marked that Chinese stomatology moved from decentralized dental diagnosis and treatment to systematic discipline construction[1]。 This transformation is not only the embodiment of technological innovation, but also a landmark event of the implementation of the national public health strategy in the dental field. Taking the 110th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Medical Association as an opportunity, this paper focuses on the two main lines of discipline construction and scientific and technological innovation, combs out the 110-year development course of Chinese stomatology, and looks forward to its mission and direction in the "Healthy China 2030" strategy[2]。
