Three-dimensional printing is the key link of digital oral restoration, accompanied by the maturity and rapid development of digital optical scanning, computer-aided design and digital oral prosthesis manufacturing chain. As a new additive manufacturing technology, compared with traditional manufacturing technology, 3D printing can improve the degree of freedom of restoration processing, and is especially suitable for making oral restorations with complex shapes, especially in dental crowns
It has unique advantages in surface production, which fundamentally changes the experience and skill processing mode of traditional dental prosthesis. The three-dimensional printed restoration has high precision and low cost, and is especially suitable for batch customization and production of various kinds of oral restoration with complex shapes; The utilization rate of raw materials is also high, the material waste is reduced, and the manufacturing cost of the complex oral prosthesis is not increased additionally, so that the manufacturing cost of the oral prosthesis is greatly reduced. Therefore, at present, three-dimensional printing is the most widely used and the most active research in the field of dental prosthodontics, which greatly promotes the development of prosthodontics.
There are many classification methods for temporomandibular disorders (TMD) in the world. In 1991, with funding from the National Institute of Dental Research (NIDR), Samuel F.
