Inspired by a series of policies and plans on the development of health service industry and health management and promotion services in the country and some provinces and cities, China's health service industry and health management and promotion have a good overall development momentum, great development potential and full development potential. However, judging from the requirements of the new normal of national macroeconomic development and the actual progress, some problems worthy of attention have emerged in China's health service industry and health management. This issue focuses on the research of health management theory and macro policy, and invites experts to discuss it from different angles and aspects.

Time flies, the years fly, and 2016 has quietly arrived in the blink of an eye. Under the background that the concept of health management continues to be deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, "Chinese Journal of Health Management" has not only ushered in rare development opportunities, but also faced great challenges. We must seize the opportunity, innovate and develop, move forward, and make new achievements.

In October 2013, the State Council issued Several Opinions on Promoting the Development of Health Service Industry^[1]The Bank clearly incorporated health management and promotion services into the development goals and emerging business formats of the country's health service industry. Since then, health management, as a new discipline of modern medicine and a new format of health service industry, has been highly valued and widely concerned by governments at all levels, medical circles, industry circles and the general public. Over the past two years, the relevant departments of the State Council have successively issued a series of supporting policies and measures to promote the development of health service industry, such as the State Council's "Several Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Modern Insurance Service Industry"^[2]And "Several Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Commercial Health Insurance" issued by the General Office of the State Council^[3]； Several Opinions of the State Council on Accelerating the Development of Sports Industry and Promoting Sports Consumption^[4]； The General Office of the State Council issued the Development Plan of Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Services (2015-2020)^[5]Etc. Provinces and cities have also successively issued local plans and policies to promote the development of health service industry^[6,7,8,9,10]。 Under the inspiration of a series of national, provincial and municipal policies and plans on the development of health service industry and health management and promotion services, China's health service industry and health management and promotion have a good overall development momentum, great development potential and full development potential. However, from the requirements and actual progress of the new normal of national macroeconomic development, some problems worthy of attention have emerged in China's health service industry and health management. Now talk about some views and opinions on how to speed up the improvement of health management service system and promote the coordinated development of health service industry.

Without universal health, there will be no comprehensive well-off society. Health is an inevitable requirement to promote people's all-round development, and an important symbol of national prosperity and people's happiness. With the implementation of the national "13th Five-Year Plan" recommendations, Healthy China has been officially upgraded to a national strategy^[1]。

In 2011, Hubei Province began to implement the "Healthy Hubei" National Action Plan, which put forward "ten major actions" such as the promotion of health literacy for the whole people and the development of health industry, so as to achieve the goal of "everyone has health literacy, everyone develops healthy behavior, everyone participates in fitness activities, everyone cleans their homes by hand, and everyone enjoys health services"^[1]。 In 2012, Hubei Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission launched pilot projects of healthy city construction in Wuhan, Yichang and Shiyan, and for the first time proposed that health management should be the foundation of healthy city construction to achieve the goal of people's health. To implement the "Several Opinions on Promoting the Development of Health Service Industry" issued by the State Council^[2]In October 2013, the Hubei Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission issued the "Guiding Opinions on Carrying out the Pilot Work of Health Management" to launch and promote the pilot work of health management in the whole province, realize the transformation from "medical care for diseases" to "comprehensive health management", and explore the working mode and management method of health management covering the whole life cycle^[3]In order to achieve two important goals of deepening medical reform: improving people's health level and controlling the rapid growth of medical expenses, an effective way has been found to meet the reality of the grassroots level; It also promotes the development of health management from decentralized and fragmented to the development track of "big health management", which is linked and systematically implemented by the government and relevant departments as a whole. In the process of implementation, combined with local practice and exploration, the design of relevant policies, systems and norms was constantly improved, and the comprehensive innovation and development of health management work was better guided and promoted, which initially realized a good start of comprehensive health management work led by government departments in Hubei Province.

precision medicine has become a cross-border hotspot since President Barack Obama launched the "precision medicine Program" in his State of the Union address in January 2015^[1]。 The concept of precision medicine comes from personalized medicine^[2]。 In 2011, the National Security Council of the National Academy of Sciences published the book "Towards Precision Medicine."^[3]The definition of precision medicine in this book emphasizes the adjustment of medical treatment measures according to the characteristics of each individual (including susceptibility to disease, responsiveness to a certain treatment, etc.). Various combinations of these characteristics classify disease diagnoses into finer and more reasonable subpopulations, while these characteristics themselves need to be obtained through integrated studies of genetic and phenotypic information. Therefore, precision medicine and contemporary individualized medicine are actually in the same vein.

2015 marks the centenary of the Chinese Medical Association. The 25th National Member Congress and 100th Anniversary Conference of Chinese Medical Association was grandly held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on December 14th, 2015. Vice Premier Liu Yandong delivered an important speech on behalf of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, speaking highly of the important role and great contribution played by the Chinese Medical Association in promoting China's social and economic development and ensuring people's health, and putting forward clear requirements on how the Chinese Medical Association can focus on the overall situation of the work of the Party and the state, and how to play the unique role of China's largest medical science and technology society in the new historical journey of building a well-off society in an all-round way and building a healthy China, pointing out the direction for the Chinese Medical Association to start a new century journey. On behalf of the 24th Council of Chinese Medical Association, President Chen Zhu made a work report on "Upholding the century-old soul and working tirelessly to help the Chinese dream create greater glory". President Chen Zhu's report summarized the century-old development of the Chinese Medical Association, highly condensed and interpreted the ideological connotation and academic essence of "Century-old Soul, Chinese Dream". Conscientiously study and implement the spirit of Vice Premier Liu Yandong's speech, deeply understand the "soul" forged by Chinese medicine over the past century, and imagine the "Chinese dream" of healthy new century. Adapting to the new normal of national economic development, studying the new normal of medical and health development, and innovating academic theory and practice research on health management have become the consensus of all colleagues in health management.

A lot of clinical evidence indicates that Helicobacter pylori (Hp) is closely related to chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer and gastric cancer. The eradication of Hp enables the prevention and treatment of these diseases^[1,2,3]。 Understanding the infection of Hp in the population is of great significance to prevent the occurrence of related diseases and improve the quality of life. We examined 30 115 people who underwent physical examination in Qilinshan Sanatorium in Shenzhen in 2014¹³C breath test to understand the situation of Hp infection.

Depression is a common mental disorder, which is a global disease with high prevalence, high suicide rate and high disability rate. The occurrence of depression is related to biological, social and psychological factors. In some cases, a certain factor plays a decisive role, such as early onset and family clustering cases are mainly determined by biological factors; Some cases are influenced by a combination of several factors, such as obvious stressful events or cases with special personality. American Academy of Psychiatry (APA) 2010 edition of the Guidelines for the Treatment of Depression^[1,2](hereinafter referred to as APA Guidelines) and the Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Depressive Disorders in China^[3]All of them put forward the overall goal of depression treatment, namely: improving the clinical cure rate; Improve the quality of life and restore social functions; Prevent recurrence. In order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to optimize clinical treatment and follow the three basic principles of comprehensive treatment, full-course treatment and alliance treatment^[4]。 Community mental health service plays an increasingly prominent role in the prevention and treatment system of mental illness in China. Community mental health doctors need to conduct regular follow-up evaluation on patients with depression (including the aura of depression recurrence, suicide risk and drug side effects, etc.), and arrange patients to be referred to psychiatric hospitals if necessary^[5]。

In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of a series of documents such as Several Opinions on Promoting the Development of Health Service Industry (referred to as Opinions), Several Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Aged Care Service Industry and Several Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Sports Industry to Promote Sports Consumption, we will welcome the centenary of Chinese Medical Association with practical actions and provide an academic exchange platform and opportunity for realizing the "Healthy Chinese Dream". Sponsored by Chinese Medical Association and Health Management Branch of Chinese Medical Association, hosted by Henan Medical Association and Henan Health Management Society, and co-organized by China Health Promotion Foundation and Chinese Journal of Health Management, the 9th China Health Service Industry Conference and the 7th National Health Management Academic Conference of Chinese Medical Association were held in Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, Henan Province from September 18 to 20, 2015. This conference closely focuses on the theme of "improving the service system and promoting coordinated development", and exchanges and explores hot issues such as relevant theories, practical connotations, industrial chains, service models and coordinated development mechanisms of health management disciplines and health service industry development under the new normal. Regardless of the scale of the conference, the width of participants, the quantity and quality of papers, the level of academic exchange and the display of related technologies/products have exceeded the previous ones. This conference will be recorded in the history of China's health service industry and health management academic development with its academic brand and influence, and will also contribute wisdom and strength to the centenary of the Chinese Medical Association and the realization of the "Healthy Chinese Dream".

Researchers report that measuring an individual's waist circumference with a string can predict cardiovascular risk better than using body mass index (BMI) alone. A recent study presented at the European Congress on Obesity in Prague supports this finding that people with waist circumference measurements less than half their height measurements have a lower cardiovascular risk. This measurement can be completed with minimal personnel training and resources, i.e. measuring the patient's height with a string and then folding the string in half to check if the waist circumference value is less.
