The formation of any disease, before the organ pathology, usually organ function declines first, and when it declines to a critical point, the pathology will occur. If we can know whether the function index of each organ is within the normal range before we get sick, find those indicators that have declined, understand the impact on us in the future, and improve them through scientific methods, so as to avoid the above intestinal related diseases or more serious conditions. This is the concept of functional medicine. Because the meaning of the existence of organs is their functions, their functions sustain us as people and affect our quality of life. Therefore, while we pay attention to whether the body is ill, we should pay more attention to the organs of our body, how their functions are now and what will be in the future? Functional medicine uses various functional examinations to understand the uniqueness of an individual's constitution. Besides treating diseases, it also advocates health maintenance, and then designs a "tailor-made" treatment or health care plan based on the results.
