Su Song (1020-1101) was one of the most outstanding scientists and naturalists in ancient Chinese history. The academic seminar to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of Su Song's birth, Fujian Province's "New Progress Study Class of Clinical Traditional Chinese Medicine", the 3rd Annual Academic Conference of Clinical Traditional Chinese Medicine and the 24th Annual Academic Conference of Medical History kicked off in Lushan Hall (Su Song's former residence) in Tongan, Xiamen. The conference was sponsored by School of Pharmacy of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Clinical Chinese Medicine Branch of Fujian Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Pharmaceutical History Professional Committee of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, Medical History Branch of Fujian Medical Association, undertaken by Xiamen Third Hospital, and co-organized by Tongan Lushantang Susong Research Association. The conference collected more than 40 papers, mainly including researches related to commemorating Su Song and his Herbal Illustrated Classics. More than 200 experts and scholars from all over the country gathered to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of Su Song's birth (Figure 1）。

The signing of this contract marks the strong alliance between the most authoritative Chinese Medical Association Magazine in the field of biomedical publishing in China and Wiley, a global leader in the field of scientific research and educational publishing, to share resources and jointly promote the construction of first-class academic journals and academic platforms in China's medical field. More than 80 guests, including leaders of government departments, well-known experts in the publishing field and media representatives, attended the meeting, witnessed the establishment of this landmark partnership, and took this opportunity to conduct in-depth discussions about new prospects and opportunities for the development of high-quality academic journals.
