Nowadays, in the medical field, when we mention "Chinese Medical History" co-authored by Wang Jimin and Wu Liande (History of Chinese MedicineIt is almost universally known that the reason for writing this book is that Wu Liande read the American medical historian F.H. Garrison's History of Medicine (An Introduction to History of Medicine) When I started a book, I found that in this book published in 1913, with a length of more than 700 pages, there was less than one page about Chinese medicine. I felt very unfair about this, so I told Wang Jimin (one said that Wang Jimin saw it first, and then told Wu Liande). Subsequently, Wu wrote to Garrison to inquire, and received a reply from the latter. The two were quite stimulated, so they got up to write, and published "Chinese Medical History" in 1932. There are still a number of questions worth exploring about this issue.
