transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) is the main method for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma^[1,2]。 Acute kidney injury (AKI) after TACE can lead to prolonged hospital stay and even renal function impairment, and progress to chronic kidney disease (CKD), which affects patient survival^[3]。 However, postoperative AKI has not attracted enough attention in clinical practice, and few influencing factors have been included in a few previous reports. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the risk factors of AKI after TACE more comprehensively, so as to provide evidence for the prevention, treatment and prognosis of AKI after TACE.

Hypertension as a risk factor for chronic kidney disease (CKD)^[1,2]Our 2007 survey showed that the risk of developing CKD in hypertensive people was twice as high as in non-hypertensive people^[3]。 In order to understand the changing trend of CKD prevalence and the influence of hypertension on the progression of CKD among hypertensive people in Xinjiang, we conducted another cross-sectional follow-up survey of this population in 2013.

Early detection and intervention of chronic kidney disease (CKD) is an effective means to delay patients entering end-stage renal failure. The total prevalence of CKD in China reached 10.8%^[1]There are differences in the incidence and high risk factors of CKD in different regions and ethnic groups. Ningxia is an ethnic minority area where Hui nationality gathers. The results of the 2010 Ningxia census show that the Han nationality accounts for 64.58% and the Hui nationality accounts for 34.77%. This study aims to conduct epidemiological investigation of CKD among the residents of Hui and Han nationality over 18 years old in Ningxia, so as to provide a basis for the formulation of health policy and the allocation of medical resources in this area.

Renal arteriovenous fistula (AVF) may be complicated after renal puncture. At present, superselective arterial embolization after renal arteriography is mostly recommended. However, the medical record of needing two treatments is rare, and one case is reported.

Renal tissue M-type phospholipase A2 receptor (PLA2R) is a specific target antigen for human idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN). Serum PLA2R antibody (anti-PLA2R) is currently the only recognized and clinically available membranous nephropathy (MN) biomarker. This article will review the recent progress of anti-PLA2R in basic research, clinical detection and differential diagnosis, monitoring disease development and predicting clinical prognosis.

Podocyte injury is the main mechanism of glomerular proteinuria, which is closely related to the occurrence and development of various glomerular diseases^[1]。 Podocytosis refers to glomerular disease characterized by changes in podocyte structure and function. At present, the drugs for the treatment of podocytosis are mainly immunosuppressants, but the efficacy is limited and the adverse reactions are significant. In recent years, it has been found that podocytosis is not only related to immune inflammatory response, but also closely related to circulating factors and lipid metabolism abnormalities. Aiming at the key links in the occurrence of podocytosis, the development of new drugs and the induction of podocyte regeneration can provide a new direction for the treatment of podocytosis. This review focuses on podocytosis and new therapeutic targets.
