China's medical research management was enlightened in the early 1980s. In 1987, it was initiated by Chen Minzhang, then Minister of Health, Liu Hailin, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Education of the Ministry of Health, and approved by the Chinese Medical Association. The Medical Research Management Branch of the Chinese Medical Association was formally established. Time flies, and 30 years have passed. With the comprehensive deepening of China's science and technology system reform, "innovation-driven" has become a national development strategy. China's medical science and technology development has made great progress, which has had an important impact on the international medical community. This contains the indelible contributions of the majority of medical research management workers, the unremitting efforts and silent dedication of several generations of scientific managers, and the continuous development and growth of the medical research management branch.
