The "2020 National Hyperthermia Annual Conference and the Sixth Sino-Japanese Medical Science and Technology Exchange Association Hyperthermia Professional Committee of Radiation Oncology Therapy Branch of Chinese Medical Association and the Cancer Hyperthermia Expert Committee of Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology", co-sponsored by Jinshazhou Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and co-organized by Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University and Beijing East Asia Shenghua Medical Science and Technology Center, were held in Guangzhou Building, Guangzhou on December 11-13, 2020. Professor Wang Junjie, the new chairman of the Radiation Oncology Therapy Branch of Chinese Medical Association, delivered a video speech at the opening ceremony of the conference, which greatly affirmed the good results achieved by tumor hyperthermia combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy in clinical tumor treatment. Wang Dongan, executive director of China-Japan Medical Science and Technology Exchange Association, and Cui Shuzhong, president of Cancer Hospital affiliated to Guangzhou Medical University, delivered speeches on behalf of the organizers and co-organizers respectively.
