On June 1-2, 2019, the "Second Western Forum on Precision Radiotherapy Technology and 2019 New Progress Study Class on Comprehensive Treatment of Lung Cancer", sponsored by Precision Radiotherapy Technology Branch of Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering and jointly organized by Xinjiang Military Region General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Beijing Chest Hospital, was grandly held in Xinjiang Military Region General Hospital. The aim of the forum is to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the mainland and the western region, promote precision radiotherapy technology, promote the development of standardized comprehensive treatment of tumors, and benefit the military and civilians in Xinjiang. Focusing on the theme of "caring for life, focusing on precision and moving forward hand in hand", the forum was held in various forms such as academic reports, expert free clinics, joint ward rounds and special seminars, attracting more than 200 doctors and physicists from the north and south of Tianshan Mountains to participate in the study.
