Accessory maxillary bone is a rare type of maxillofacial developmental deformity. The main clinical manifestation is the excess tooth-containing segment in the maxillary molar area, often accompanied by soft and hard tissue deformities or defects such as supernumerary teeth, facial fissures and alveolar ridge fissures[1,2,3]。 The pathogenesis is unclear and may be caused by environmental or genetic factors. Such diseases should be further formulated according to the principle of combining early treatment and sequential treatment, and combined with the actual situation. Multidisciplinary combination and multiple orderly surgeries are often needed to improve the deformity. A patient with multiple maxillofacial deformities mainly with accessory maxillary bone was treated with orthodontic treatment with subtraction of left maxillary molar area, and was proposed to undergo accessory maxillary repair and second stage soft tissue repair.
