Peri-implantitis can cause bone loss around implants that have completed osseointegration, and eventually lead to implant shedding, and its treatment is still a difficult point in the field of oral medicine. At present, the treatment of periimplantitis mostly refers to the treatment methods of periodontitis, but because the material, morphology and surface characteristics of implants are completely different from those of natural teeth, it is very difficult to remove the contamination on the surface of implants, thus affecting the treatment effect of periimplantitis[1]。 Regenerative therapy can effectively improve clinical indexes such as local probing depth and probing bleeding for specific morphological periimplant bone defects[2]However, compared with natural teeth, the regenerative treatment effect of periimplantitis still exists uncertainty, and there is still a lack of long-term treatment effect evaluation and mature treatment norms[3]。 A case of regenerative treatment of periimplantitis was treated in the Periodontal Department of Stomatological Hospital of Peking University School of Stomatology, and the curative effect was good and stable after longitudinal observation for 5 years. The report is as follows.
