Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disease of middle-aged and elderly patients with tremor, myotonia, retardation and postural balance disorder as the main manifestations. Drug therapy in early PD was obviously effective, but after long-term oral drug therapy, the efficacy decreased and motor complications gradually appeared[1]。 deep brain stimulation (DBS) appeared in the 1970s. It is to implant stimulation electrodes in the nuclei or specific brain regions of the brain, and regulate the functions of related nuclei or brain regions through pulse electrical stimulation to achieve the purpose of improving symptoms. In 1987, Benabid of France applied DBS to the treatment of movement disorders, and it has been more than 30 years since then. This therapy was first used in China in 1998 and has been widely carried out in China[2]。
