On June 28, 2008, the authoritative British medical journal "The Lancet", volume 371, published a research paper "Based on a prospective cohort study of 462,293 adults-all-cause analysis of death due to chronic kidney disease" published by Professor Wen Qibang of Taiwan Province Institute of Health Research and others on the analysis of medical examination data of millions of people in Taiwan Province. Based on this, the number and risk of chronic kidney disease in Taiwan Province were estimated. Due to the large sample size and high quality of Taiwan Meizhao data, in addition to detailed examination results, there are also questionnaires including demography, lifestyle, personal and family disease history, personal healthy diet status, etc., which makes the research results have high credibility and academic value.

China began to implement the one-child policy in 1978. Up to now, 90 million only children have been born. Now, the first generation of only children has entered the peak of marriage and childbirth one after another. While they are still acting coquettishly to their parents, they are already parents. Due to their lack of parenting experience, most of them asked experienced parents (71.4%) or nannies (13.4%) to help raise them. On the other hand, he showed high concern about how to prevent neonatal diseases and care for common nursing problems, such as milk overflow treatment, umbilical cord care, bathing precautions, etc. However, they do not welcome the current popular way of nurse group counseling, which requires individualized communication, especially hands-on nursing skills^[1]。 Therefore, at the end of 2004, our hospital established the "Continuing Nursing Service Center for Discharged Patients" to provide continuous nursing and health guidance for discharged women and newborns within its jurisdiction. Through on-site service and personalized nursing knowledge and skills, it provided scientific and safe family care for women and newborns, helped women to master scientific and reasonable parenting methods in time, effectively reduced the occurrence of newborn diseases and improved the quality of life of newborns. Cervical cancer is a malignant tumor that seriously endangers women's health, and ranks second in the incidence of gynecological malignant tumors. In recent years, the onset age of cervical cancer tends to be younger, which makes the prevention and screening of cervical cancer particularly important. Gynecological screening and follow-up, as well as active treatment of precancerous lesions can block the course of the disease, prevent the occurrence of cervical cancer, and then improve the quality of life. From May to December 2007, the physical examination center of Qingdao Municipal Hospital performed liquid-based cytologic test (LCT) on 3574 healthy women. The results are reported below.

With the increasingly fierce social competition, various stressful life events are increasing, such as marriage, family, employment problems, interpersonal relationships, chronic physical diseases and other factors, which make the prevalence of depression show an upward trend, and it has become a serious disease that threatens human health and affects life happiness. The rehabilitation of patients with depression should pay attention to psychological and social factors. Family, as an important environment in the process of individual growth, should be especially paid attention to. To pay attention to and change the family rehabilitation environment of depression should be included in the agenda of depression care and prevention^[1]。 From September 2005 to September 2008, we conducted a study on the effects of home care interventions for patients with depression, and the results are reported below.

After the "5.12" earthquake in Sichuan, all classes in the country are doing their best to serve the people in the disaster area. From September 22nd to 29th, 2008, as the first batch of volunteers of "You Are My Angel Fraternity Volunteer Action", we worked in three Fraternity Health Stations in Guanghong Village, Baohua Village and Baima Village, Heqing Town, An County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, providing medical help to the people in the disaster area by means of voluntary diagnosis and treatment, health consultation and investigation. At the same time, we randomly investigated the medical and health status of 482 villagers, and the results are analyzed as follows.

A large number of studies have confirmed that many negative psychological factors are closely related to the occurrence and development of coronary heart disease (CHD). These negative psychological factors include depression and anxiety. Many investigations have proved that depression and anxiety disorders are independent risk factors for CHD^[1]And depression and anxiety are predictors of major cardiac adverse events in coronary heart disease^[2]。 At present, clinicians have unclear understanding of depression and anxiety, and their diagnosis is insufficient^[3]Therefore, we investigated psychological stress and measured serum inflammatory mediator levels in hospitalized CHD patients to explore the inducing mechanism of psychological stress on Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), and provided a basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Breast cancer has been recognized as one of the killers of women's health worldwide. Every year, there are more than one million new women with breast cancer worldwide, and at least 400,000 of them die from breast cancer^[1]。 The American Cancer Society (ACS) estimates that there were 180 510 new cases of breast Cancer and 40 910 deaths in The United States in 2007^[2]。 In recent years, the incidence of breast cancer in developing countries has increased by about 5% per year^[3]The death rate accounts for about 75% of the global mortality rate^[1,3]。 In recent years, China has become one of the countries with the fastest growth in breast cancer incidence. In Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and other large and medium-sized cities, breast cancer has jumped to the top of female malignant tumors^[4]。

Periodontal disease is one of the two common oral diseases. Periodontal disease refers to a chronic, inflammatory, destructive disease of the supporting tissues surrounding the teeth. The results of the Third National Epidemiological Survey of Oral Health show that 80% ~97% of the population have periodontal problems of varying degrees. Among all kinds of periodontal diseases, periodontitis is the main cause of adult tooth loss in China. The results of recent studies show that periodontitis is a risk factor for diabetes, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, respiratory diseases and other systemic diseases^[1,2,3]It is closely related to premature low birth weight infants^[4]It can also affect general health through the pathway of "loss of teeth-reduced chewing efficiency-gastrointestinal overburden-digestive and absorption disorders". Because periodontal disease has the characteristics of latent onset and slow course, there is still a big gap in people's understanding of the harm of periodontal disease, especially the relationship with general health. Therefore, analyzing the correlation between periodontal disease and diabetes and exploring the oral health management of periodontitis patients is of great significance to promote the oral health and physical and mental health of periodontal disease and diabetes patients and improve their quality of life.

Collecting health information is the first step of health management. Complete and accurate collection of individual and group health information provides the basic conditions for the subsequent steps of health management. If there are errors or omissions in this link, the follow-up work may not be carried out smoothly. Therefore, questionnaire design is the basic skill of health managers and a basic skill that must be mastered.

As a new type of health profession, health manager has been widely concerned by the society. Thousands of health management professionals have been trained across the country since training and certification began in early 2007. This article will summarize the relevant situation of health managers from the perspective of the current situation and development of this profession.

With the development of modern medicine, doctors should not only eliminate the diseases of the body, but also strive to eliminate all kinds of social and psychological factors that endanger human health^[1]。 Advocating humanistic care in medicine, moving from technology to humanistic care will become a necessary condition for the transformation of modern medical model^[2]。 The proposal of humanistic medicine reflects the re-understanding of medical ethics and medical purpose in the medical and health circles. Humanized service measures are the practice of the basic ethical concept of "people-oriented" and the correction of the traditional medical model of serious illness and neglect of medical ethics. The development of patient health management in general hospitals is an active exploration for harmonizing the relationship between doctors and patients and innovating medical service models.

At present, the current situation of the health management market is that health management services are basically provided by municipal medical institutions, district-level medical institutions and private institutions, and are only limited to health examination services. The prevention, treatment and health education services after physical examination have not been further extended. General hospitals have the characteristics of good medical environment, professional examination facilities, outstanding medical level and strong physicians. Therefore, there is huge market potential for establishing membership-based health management services in general hospitals.

I recommended myself to be the host of the column "Health Science Popularization Theory and Practice", not because I have any achievements in the theoretical research of health science popularization; Not because I have accumulated some practical experience in health science popularization in recent years; Nor is it because of the "SCI" strange circle that I am caught in the Chinese academic circle^[1](The full name of SCI is science citation index, which is the paper database of a literature retrieval organization in the United States. It includes scientific papers published in more than 6,000 magazines around the world and the data of papers cited, of which 74 are published in Chinese magazines and 18 are published in Chinese. It is an indisputable fact that SCI is alienated in China) I am not interested, let alone because I have a soft spot for health science popularization; It is because of a large amount of scientific evidence and China's specific national conditions that I have come to the following conclusion: health management cannot be done without the popularization of health science and technology (hereinafter referred to as health science popularization), and it is impossible to overemphasize the important position of health science popularization in the development of health management. I am willing to give full play to the irreplaceable and huge role of health science popularization, which has been neglected now, and lay a solid scientific foundation for China's health management.

In the process of engaging in health science writing for many years, I gradually realized that writing health science books needs to always adhere to public welfare, science, popularity, interest and effectiveness, and keep pace with the times and have a sense of the times.
