Diabetic foot is one of the serious complications of diabetic patients, and it is the specific manifestation of systemic vascular complications of diabetes in lower limbs, which is very harmful to the quality of life and life of patients. Diabetic foot is formed when the arteries supplying the calf and foot are narrowed and occluded, resulting in pain, unhealable ulcers and even gangrene in the foot due to ischemia. For a long time in the past, due to the backward diagnosis and treatment technology, there was no good clinical treatment for vascular lesions under the knee, and finally, the diseased limb could only be amputated to prevent the spread of infection. According to statistics, worldwide, one amputation is caused every 30 seconds due to diabetes. The number of amputations due to diabetes in the United States reaches 80,000/year, of which 50% require knee-level amputation, 50% will undergo another amputation within 5 years, and 50% will die within 5 years[
three dimensional contrast enhanced magnetic resonance angiography (3DCE-MRA) is a non-invasive, safe and simple examination method, which has high sensitivity and specificity for the detection of lower extremity vascular lesions[
pontine tegmental cap dysplasia (PTCD) is a very rare congenital pontocerebellar malformation. The author encountered one case in his work, and it is reported as follows.
