Parasternal hernia refers to the protrusion of abdominal organs into the thoracic diaphragmatic angle area through the sternocostal triangle, also known as Morgagni hiatal hernia. This disease is rare, accounting for 3% to 5% of diaphragmatic hernia. It is multiple in the right chest, mainly with respiratory and digestive symptoms. When intestinal incarceration occurs, thoracic and abdominal infection may occur. Once diagnosed, surgery should be performed as soon as possible.[1]。 From January 2014 to December 2017, we used laparoscopy combined with extracorporeal crochet technique to treat 4 cases of parasternal hernia. Crochet needles were used to lead the intraabdominal suture out of the body and tie it, and the diaphragm and abdominal wall were sutured together.
