In recent years, ultrasound-guided percutaneous microwave ablation (MWA) in the treatment of drug-refractory secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT) has been gradually applied in clinical practice, and only a few clinical cases have been reported in China^[1,2]The clinical efficacy and safety of 16 patients treated with SHPT undergoing MWA in our hospital are reported below.

Maintenance hemodialysis patients are at high risk of hepatitis B and C infection, and nosocomial cross-infection has become the primary cause of hepatitis B and C virus infection in hemodialysis patients. The center adopted new nosocomial infection prevention and control measures, which effectively prevented nosocomial cross-infection of hepatitis B and C.

Essential hypertension is a group of complex polygenic diseases caused by the combination of genetics, environmental factors and lifestyle. According to the research on monogenic genetic diseases consistent with Mendel's law, more than 20 key genes involved in blood pressure regulation have been identified in academic circles, and their mechanism of action mainly affects the reabsorption of salt by the kidney^[1,2]。 Renal distal convoluted tubule Na-Cl co-transporter (Na⁺-Cl^-cotransporter, NCC) is responsible for the glomerular filtration of 5% to 10% sodium chloride reabsorption task^[3], may play an important role in blood pressure regulation. Therefore, this paper will review the relationship between NCC activity and blood pressure at home and abroad, so as to further clarify the influence of genetic factors on blood pressure.

autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) is the single gene hereditary kidney disease with the highest incidence in the world. There are about 12.5 million ADPKD patients worldwide, and about 77% of patients progress to end-stage renal disease (ESRD) before the age of 70, or even death, is the fourth cause of ESRD^[1,2]。 Its pathological characteristics are that renal tubular cells acquire abnormal proliferation ability, gradually form cysts of different sizes, and the cysts continue to increase and compress adjacent normal nephrons, resulting in irreversible damage of kidney structure and function, and finally enter ESRD. The main clinical manifestations of ADPKD are hypertension, hematuria, urinary tract infection, kidney stones, chronic pain, etc. ADPKD is a systemic disease, which involves many organs in the whole body besides the kidney. Common kidney surfaces include multiple liver cysts, pancreatic cysts, intracranial aneurysms, heart valve disease, colon diverticula, etc. Therefore, it is seriously harmful and brings a heavy burden to society and families^[3]。

Hyperphosphatemia is the most common complication in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). In recent years, more and more studies have confirmed that increased blood phosphorus is closely related to the incidence of cardiovascular events and mortality in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD)^[1,2,3]The cause may be related to the calcification of blood vessels, myocardium and heart valves promoted by hyperphosphatemia^[4,5,6]。 Sodium-phosphorus co-transporter (Na⁺/Pi co-transporters (NaPi) are transmembrane proteins that regulate the transport and distribution of phosphorus inside and outside cells. At present, several studies have found that the expression level of type III sodium-dependent phosphate cotransporter-1 (Pit-1) in calcified vascular tissues induced by high phosphorus is increased^[7,8]。 This article reviews the role of sodium-phosphorus co-transporters in vascular calcification.
