Diffuse pigmented villonodular synovitis (DPVNS) is an idiopathic proliferative lesion involving the synovial membrane, joint capsule and tendon sheath of the joint. The etiology is not clear, and it is most common in the knee, followed by the hip^[1]。 It is difficult to completely remove by surgery, and it is easy to relapse after surgery. With the development of arthroscopic technology, arthroscopic synovectomy is gradually carried out. Nowadays, many research institutions at home and abroad recommend combined radiotherapy after arthroscopic synovectomy to reduce LR rate^[2]The curative effect of 12 patients with DPVNS admitted to the radiotherapy department of our hospital from March 2008 to February 2014 is discussed as follows.

Radiotherapy is one of the main treatments for penile cancer. Radiotherapy for early penile cancer can preserve the penis and make the lesion obtain LC, while radiotherapy for advanced penile cancer can play a palliative or symptomatic effect. Because the root of the penis attached to the inferior pubic branch, the ischial branch and the urogenital diaphragm are relatively fixed, the rest part is free and has a large range of mobility, which brings great difficulties to the fixation of the organs of radiotherapy for penile cancer and the protection of the sensitive organs testis. Liu Yajun et al.^[1]The liquid paraffin is used to make a homemade penis fixation device, but the foam module is difficult to reflect the true size of the patient's penis. The fixed box is easy to obtain materials, has low cost, does not have discomfort and inconvenience to patients due to water temperature and fluid compared with water box irradiation, and is simple to manufacture, and can also be made individually according to individual differences of patients.
