Expert Introduction: Cerebrovascular diseases such as cerebral infarction and cerebral aneurysm are important issues that plague human health and bring social medical burden worldwide. In recent years, Professor Wang Yuting's team from the Department of Radiology, Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital has carried out a series of studies around cerebrovascular imaging. On the one hand, in the field of ischemic diseases such as cerebral infarction, it has explored different imaging tasks in acute and chronic phases; On the other hand, in the field of hemorrhagic diseases such as cerebral aneurysms, population studies and the exploration and verification of novel markers are carried out. Based on long-term systematic research, a series of key imaging markers have been developed and verified, which can be applied to multiple scenarios (etiology diagnosis, prognosis prediction, rupture and hemorrhage risk assessment, recurrence risk assessment, drug efficacy monitoring, etc.) in the whole clinical management process of cerebral infarction, cerebral aneurysm and other vascular diseases, providing imaging basis for assisting the diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases. Professor Liu Yaou of Beijing Tiantan Hospital pointed out that cerebrovascular disease is an important cause of adult death and disability worldwide. How to reduce its incidence, improve prognosis and reduce recurrence is an important research direction at present. Professor Wang Yuting's team started with the southwest population, focused on the key clinical issues in the field of cerebrovascular diseases, conducted research design based on clinical needs, conducted a series of clinical imaging studies, and deeply cooperated with domestic and foreign research teams to apply new imaging technologies to stroke etiology exploration, clinical prognosis prediction, disease recurrence risk assessment, drug efficacy monitoring, etc., so that the imaging research results can be applied to clinical practice.
