Expert Introduction: Professor Zhang Huimao of the First Affiliated Hospital of Jilin University pointed out that exploring the mechanism of neurodegenerative diseases, especially exploring their early imaging markers and differential diagnosis indicators, is of great significance for precise clinical diagnosis and treatment. Professor Fan Guoguang's team conducted a series of studies on Parkinson's disease (PD) and Parkinson's syndrome around motor symptoms, cognitive impairment and differential diagnosis. In terms of motor function, the team's research showed that the occurrence of frozen gait (FOG) in PD patients is related to the reduction of right frontal middle degree centrality (DC) and the change of functional connection (FC) with the cerebellum. Based on functional MRI (fMRI), the team extracted multi-level functional indicators to build a machine learning model to identify PD patients with different exercise subtypes, providing an imaging basis for PD typing at the individual level. Professor Wang Meiyun of Henan Provincial People's Hospital pointed out that it is a new direction of brain functional science in the era of big data to provide imaging basis for the pathophysiological mechanism of neurodegenerative diseases and realize the clinical transformation of new multimodal data fusion analysis at the individual level. Professor Fan Guoguang's team explored the evidence-based medical evidence of motor and cognitive impairment in PD and Parkinson's syndrome from the mechanism, explored the unique role of cerebellum in PD and Parkinson's syndrome, searched for the similarities and differences of morphological changes involved in PD and cognitive impairment in Parkinson's syndrome, and innovatively integrated popular artificial intelligence with multimodal MRI research to construct PD motor subtype classification and PD and Parkinson's syndrome differential diagnosis model, which provided a new prospect for the precise diagnosis and treatment of PD and Parkinson's syndrome and the clinical transformation of scientific research.
