The Radiation Health Technical Service Institution is not only an institution that guarantees the peaceful utilization and sustainable development of nuclear radiation technology in China, but also an institution that guarantees the health of 223,000 people engaged in radiation diagnosis and treatment and 300 million patients who attend radiation diagnosis and treatment every year[
In recent years, with the continuous development of multi-slice spiral CT technology, lower limb arterial CT imaging (CTA) has been widely used, but its scanning range is long, and it covers radiation sensitive tissues such as gonads and reproductive organs. Therefore, the radiation dose of lower limb CTA has been paid more and more attention by patients and doctors. According to the principle of as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA) put forward by the International Commission for Radiological Protection (ICRP), it has become one of the important technical topics to reasonably reduce CT radiation dose while ensuring the image quality meets the diagnostic needs. The purpose of this study is to explore the application value of automatic tube current modulation (ATCM) combined with iterative reconstruction (IR) algorithm in lower limb CTA.
